I have been painting instead of sewing for the last few days. After staring at that quilt all week I needed a break and got some other much needed projects underway. We just received this shelf from a friend who was moving to Boston and didn’t want to take it along. I repainted it white, and it fits pretty well in the breakfast nook right now. We have been looking for some furniture to go in there for a while, but can’t really decide on anything. Now that we have seen the shelf there, I think we have decided to look for something with doors on the bottom and either shelves or glass doors on top. We also want it to have a workspace/countertop area for the coffee machines. Yes, there are multiple for we have a serious addiction to the deliciously bitter brew of the coffee plant.
In case you’re wondering, we both love Vermont, and order our coffee direct from our favorite roaster, Green Mountain Coffee. Matt’s favorite is the Wild Mountain Blueberry, and my favorite is the Rain Forest Nut. If you haven’t tried their coffee hop over to their site, join the coffee club, and anxiously await the delivery of caffeinated goodness. It’s so worth it. I can’t find the pictures of us in Vermont visiting Green Mountain Coffee on this computer… I told you it was bad. But here is a picture from the most recent trip up to Smuggler’s Notch when I was very pregnant with our son! We love Vermont in the fall time!
